Ian enabled Mallee to respond positively because she understands what I am asking and I am learning to be consistent in maintaining our ‘pack’ structure in all its aspects. He also gives you plenty of insight, information and homework to follow up successfully.
Testimonials
Archie, Caulfield
Archie is everything you want your loving companion to be and we owe all this to a the real "dog whisperer" - Ian Bradnock.
Hawthorn
Ian has shown us some excellent steps to take on training our beautiful puppy so the puppy does not become a disaster in later life.
Nugget & Bella, Flemington
After less than two hours at my property, Ian had my two golden retrievers walking beautifully on the lead and had shown me several techniques to discourage the dogs from barking when l arrived home from work each day.
Scooter, Melbourne
Ian set us on the right track from the start with simple, no-nonsense, easy-to-follow instructions. We were taught how to get Scooter to sit, drop, stay, come, and walk beautifully on-lead. Ian taught us how to prevent and stop any unwanted behaviours such as excessive chewing, barking or jumping up.
Molly, Glenroy
Ian, the dog trainer - please add 'lifesaver' in brackets as I don't know how Molly and I would have survived without his expert knowledge of how a dog thinks and behaves, his kind yet firm authority with both the animal and the owner. Molly still receives compliments on how well trained she is when we are out and about. Always indebted.
Buddy, Melbourne
Ian's confidence and knowledge is fantastic and has also allowed our beloved Buddy to be calm and collected throughout his training. Ian is well aware of how to train unlike "most" puppy training.
Lagotto, Melbourne
Last year we asked for his advice again when we introduced a happy and energetic Lagotto puppy. Again, we found Ian to be very helpful in solving our dog problems and assisting with behaviours we were keen to discourage.
Hugo, Melbourne
Ian came into my home, in less than 2 hours, he completely changed Hugo's behaviour and he is now an absolute angel!
Darcy, Port Melbourne
Ian's commonsense approach made sense to us and was so easy to follow and implement. We would not hesitate to recommend his services.
Walter, Richmond
Ian showed great patience with Walter and I and explained why Walter was the way he was and how my behaviour needed to change to ensure Walter's behaviour changed. I'd done pretty much everything wrong from the time I brought the puppy home.
Atticus, Richmond
Ian totally changed the way we were training Atticus. His technique is to train the owners, so you can train your dog. We saw a marked improvement in Atticus' behaviour instantly. Atticus still tried pushing the boundaries, but we now had real tools to fix the problems.
Max, Toorak
When we picked up Max, Ian was there to meet us at home to initially start the training. This involved Max acclimatizing to his new environment, which included his new sleeping quarters and eating arrangements. We were expecting a very noisy and disruptive first few nights but Max did not cry once and was extremely happy and contented and had been running up our back stairs from the word go. We were extremely impressed just with the initial training regime.
Matilda, Richmond
Ian The Dog Trainer came to our home and answered all our questions. We had certain issues that we had to abide to, namely we live in rental property we have to have a well behaved dog. He assured us that with proper training we could obtain that goal. He has been right. We are proud owners of a spoodle. With Ian's help we have a wonderfully trained pet.
Zippy, Brunswick
I believe Zippy is a happier dog since Ian's visit, and I know I am certainly a happier dog owner. I gladly recommend Ian and Ian The Dog Trainer to anyone, no matter how old or unresponsive to training you may think your dog is.
Tonka, Mordialloc
Ian's visit was a revelation. Ian quickly exploded the myths. Ian explained why his primary goal in training is to ensure the dog does not dominate the owner's life, but behaves sensibly according to your needs and normal social expectations.
